Aerovox 4404-P/D81W3307M 7UF 330 Volt (V) dry film, HID lighting capacitor, commonly used for 70-Watt (W) High Pressure Sodium (HPS) fixtures and works with S-62 HPS bulbs and a high power factor HX circuit type ballast. The case is 1.2" diameter and 2.7" tall with a maximimum temperature rating of 100C. No PCB’s rated for 100c, +-3%. There is a 3.67 internal resistor that dissipates charges to less than 50V in 60 seconds when DE energized. This device is not protected against short circuit, capacitors do deteriorate, stop replacing ballast kits if the transformer is good. The average life of a capacitor is 60,000 hours.
