Order Shipment:

The HID Quickfix Store uses real-time shipping rates from UPS that are based on the actual weight of your order and your destination zip code. The rates we charge for shipping are the rates we pay. We don't inflate them or tack on additional handling charges. We believe this is fair and equitable for all consumers.

At any time during the shopping experience, you can check to see what your shipping cost is going to be by clicking "calculate shipping" on the shopping cart page.

HIDQuickFix.com ships all orders processed by 2:00 p.m Eastern Standard Time the same day with no additional charge for stock items. We ship using UPS. Charges vary with the type of service and the ship to address. The exact cost will be calculated as you check out. Most items shown are ready for immediate shipment. The availability of an item is based on the time it takes to get the item out of the warehouse, package it and ship it to you. You can expect your order to be shipped as soon as possible.

There are various shipping methods you can choose. Shipping times will vary depending on the shipping method you choose, the destination and availability (or lead time if applicable) of your items. If your order includes an item that is not immediately available, our shipping staff will call you for shipping advise.

Items built to customer specifications will have a lead time. Lead times will be quoted to the customer at time the order is placed.

Same-Day Shipment

If you absolutely must have your generator shipped immediately, you can now order "Same-Day Shipment" service on our selection of Guaranteed In-Stock Shipping and Additional Costs Your order will be shipped via UPS.

We will always choose the lowest possible method, if we can get a better shipping rate from another carrier for you, we will. Prices advertised do not include shipping, handling or insurance unless otherwise stated for the specific item. Kentucky residents must add 6.0% sales tax or supply a federal tax id number.

Shipping charges for most items are based on each item's size, weight, shipping method and delivery address. Shipping and handling cost estimates are calculated with our lowest-cost shipping rates for the requested method. The actual shipping cost may be higher if a different shipping method or multiple addresses are selected.

UPS methods are UPS-Ground, Home Delivery, Express Saver, 2-Day, OVERNIGHT: First, Standard, Priority where available.

It is the customer’s responsibility to pay ALL costs and charges incurred for transportation. This includes export fees, tariffs, customs charges, extra charges for special delivery (ie. residential) and all other fees and charges incurred for the transportation and delivery of the order. Having your sales order or invoice number available when you call will provide you with the most efficient service.

Out of Stock: - Orders paid by check or credit card: Items not available may be placed on backorder for a period of 30 days, backorders may be extended beyond 30 days with your approval. Product will be shipped as it becomes available. If we are unable to provide the product within 30 days, the items will be cancelled and a refund or credit will be issued.

Orders On Account:

Items not available for immediate shipment will be shipped as they become available. Items not available at the end of 45 days will be cancelled. The number of backorder days may be extended beyond 45 days with your approval. Canceling an Order Our shipping department works hard to process your order as fast as possible, sometimes the same day (within hours of receipt of your order). If you made a mistake or simply changed your mind and no longer want your order; we require a written request to cancel stating your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, order number and the date your order was placed. You will receive a confirmation of cancellation and the order will be terminated.

RETURN/REFUND POLICY

If all criteria are met one can expect a refund from HIDQUICKFIX.com within 14 business days of our Company receiving the returned product.

Restocking Fee

Why We Charge Restocking Fees:

There is a misconception that companies benefit from returns and restocking charges. This is untrue. Understand that HIDQuickFix.com does not profit from returns. As a matter of fact, they cost us money. There are many factors as to why this is and here are a few:

Credit card transaction fees…up to 4% and "non refundable" Drop ship charges up to 5% of the order Customer service labor to process your order and credit card Warehouse labor to pick, package, label and ship your parts Shipping box expenses

When returning a product, we will incur most of the above charges again for re-processing, repackaging and restocking. When an item is returned to the manufacturing company, they charge us up to 25% to restock it. We work hard to offer great products, service and very detailed descriptions. This keeps errors to a minimum. We ask that you do the same in proofreading your selections prior to purchase. With all of this in mind, if you do order the wrong parts by mistake, you will know why we have a fair and justifiable return/restock policy in place.

HIDQuickFix.com will be happy to accept your return and refund your order subject to the conditions below. Only unused, undamaged, and 100% complete items can be considered for a return refund. All returns require prior authorization, and require the submission of the original invoice with the return.

Returns must be authorized by HIDQuickFix.com within 20 days of the invoice date. Before shipping a return, the customer must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please contact us in order to request an RMA number. The item(s) must be returned within 10 days after receiving your RMA number. Returned items must be received at HIDQuickFix.com within 30 days of the invoice date. The RMA number must be written on the outside of the package as well as on the original invoice. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. A reliable and traceable shipping means is recommended, as HIDQuickFix.com is not liable for items lost or damaged in transit, or otherwise not received.

The refund amount will not include the original Shipping and Handling Charge, and will be less a 15% re-stocking fee. Refunds are only issued to the same person or entity that made the original purchase. The payment type of the refund (credit card, check, etc.) is at the sole discretion HIDQuickFix.com. Refunds that are approved by HIDQuickFix.com are typically processed within 30 days of the receipt of the returned item(s).
